Corning's Brown 'N Serve line of products contains a special coating on the underside that absorbs microwave energy when pre-heated that browns food during cooking for added color and flavor.
This microwave browning dish is for microwave oven use only and should never be used in the oven, under the broiler, or on the stove top as it could damage the special coating.
The browning dish measures approximately 8 1/4" in diameter EXCLUDING the handles
The dish measures approximately 10 1/4" inches in diameter from handle to handle
The dish measures approximately 2 1/4" inches tall, including the footed portion.
The glass lid is P-9-C-1.
We do not see any obvious imperfections in the browning dish such as chips, nicks, or breaks in the glass.
This is a vintage pre-owned piece, so there are some minor visible signs of utensil wear.  We do our best to photograph the marks.
The blue printed heartbeat pattern is not faded, chipped, peeling or damaged in any way.
