Figurine Huge Majolica Giant Schnauzer Dog Figurine 9.5+ inches tall

Offered is this beautiful antique vintage majolica Giant Schnauzer dog figurine.
He may be marked on the bottom of one of his feet but they are covered with felt pads so I do not know which country he came from. I found him in the east of France not far from the German border so I think he may have been made in Germany.
He certainly is well made and formed. He is an intact male and looks like a stud to boot.
He is in wonderful shades of grey with a black nose and pink tongue.
He is a large figurine standing a little over 9.5 inches tall, 12.5 inches long and 5.25 inches wide.
He is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
He has some light glaze crazing from age which is normal for majolica.
