This listing is for a Nilsjohan! Mid-Century Modern 2 piece Buffet Warming Casserole Serving Dish with a clear glass insert.
The Original glass insert sits nicely inside a beautiful Copper Band with a Brass base and 2 Brass handles. This measures about 10 1/4" from handle to handle, and is 5 1/2" tall, with glass dish inserted it is 6" tall. Both pieces are marked on the bottom Nilsjohan! Sweden.
This  piece was designed by Rolf Sinnemark (1941–) he is one of Sweden’s most distinguished contemporary glass and pottery artists.
This item is previously owned and possibly used, and has been well cared for. This was an Estate sale find. I do NOT have the original box or packaging. The glass insert appears to be in great condition, it measures about 7 1/2" x 3 1/2". The Copper and Brass piece does have some tarnish and will need to be polished. This does require warming candles for proper use (NOT included).
