This item was made in 1986, in the U.S.A. It is made of Rawcliffe Pewter. The back is engraved with ''I "Love" My Miniature Schnauzer''. It does not really say ''Love'', it is a orangish-red heart instead. It is 1 1/2'' tall, and about 4'' with the chain completely stretched out. The dogs face is grooved and rough to give it extra detail, but the detail is not sharp, because the finish is very worn, somewhat sandy or gritty looking.
